Q:  Do you put real porcelain on my tub?

A:  No. Although our Duraglass coating may look like porcelain, real porcelain must be

      fired in an oven for hours at over 1800 degrees.  No one can put real porcelain on

      your tub.

Q: Why is your process different?

A:  Our process is not that much different from other resurfacing methods...but our coating

      material is.  The Duraglass coating material allows us to resurface with very little odor

      and dry times of around 10 hours!  Our proprietary coating is a major advancement in the

      resurfacing of tubs, tile and countertops and a welcome escape from the horrific odors

      associated with most other resurfacing materials.

Q:  How do I clean my tub after you finish?

A:  You should clean your tub with a liquid dish detergent, shampoo, degreaser   

      (diluted), Scrubbing Bubbles, Fantastic or similar and a wash cloth or white

      scrub pad. (See Care & Maintanence of Your Resurfaced Tub below)

Q:  Can I use a suction safety mat?

A:  No.  This can damage the finish and void your warranty.

CARE AND MAINTANENCE OF YOUR RESURFACED TUB

1. DO NOT use the surface for the specified number of hours indicated.

2. DO NOT leave soap or bottles or any objects on the finish for any extented period of time!

3. DO NOT let a leaky faucet go unrepaired.

4. DO NOT use abrasive cleansers. No S-O-S Pads. No Comet. No Soft Scrub.

5. DO NOT use loose bath mats with suctions underneath.

6. DO NOT pick surface dust off with your finger. Any surface dust will dissipate in 3-4 weeks with            normal cleaning and usage.

7. The best way to keep your tub clean is to wipe it down with a towel after each use. You don't have

     to wipe it dry.

8. Maintain caulking around the tub.

9. Here are some good cleansers to use:

• Palmolive liquid dish detergent or shampoo       
• Lysol Basin and Tile Cleaner
• Mr. Clean
• DOW
• Fantasic

10. Wax tubs once every 4 months with a urethane polish (Turtle Wax 2001) You should polish your         bathtub five days after it has been refinished.
